About the Campaign

“This is ALZ,” a campaign powered by HealthyWomen, highlights the real experiences of people living with the earlier stages of Alzheimer’s, showing that the disease is just one part of their story and that knowing early can help people make informed choices about how they want to live their lives.

At its heart, the campaign seeks to change how we think about what an early Alzheimer’s diagnosis can mean for those who receive it — not as an ending, but as a moment to reflect and move forward with intention. By sharing real stories, people living with the earlier stages of Alzheimer’s are helping to shift perceptions of the disease and challenge outdated assumptions.
